Red C shortlisted for the IPA Effectiveness Awards 2009

Direct Marketing Agency and Advertising Agency Red C's award-winning work for the Swinton Mystery Tipper is set to pick up another award at the IPA Effectiveness Awards 2009We’ve cracked open the Champers and fired off some party poppers in celebration of being shortlisted for our Swinton Mystery Tipper campaign for the IPA Effectiveness Awards 2009.

The IPA Effectiveness Awards are recognised by agencies and clients as Adland’s most rigorous awards scheme because entrants have to prove to a jury of experienced clients that their communications strategies have worked in hard business terms.

So long and thanks for the fish

ChrisThe benefits of a student placement vary greatly depending on who you speak to, to me personally it was just a part of my course, one that I was considering foregoing just so I could graduate sooner.

When I eventually found my placement at Red C I soon realised how vital the experience was, not just academically but also personally. Red C is a company that, as it says, strives to get under the skin of its clients. It’s a bold statement to make but it’s certainly true in every imaginable way, I know from personal experience – trust me!

It’s Gold for Red C at the 2009 ISP Awards

Direct Marketing Agency and Direct Response Advertising Agency staff member Amy Estcourt shows off our awards at the 2009 Institute of Sales Promotion Awards for our Swinton Mystery Tipper Marketing CampaignRed C’s work for the Swinton Mystery Tipper scooped a Gold in Financial Services and a Bronze in Business to Business at the 2009 Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) Awards. The Awards, which honour the most creative and effective campaigns promoting sales, or changing behaviour, across all media channels, culminated in a spectacular ceremony at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

Around 300 entries were received for the ISP Awards this year from over 70 Agencies.  They represented 150 brands ranging from Aero to Waterstone’s, the Army to Scrumpy Jack and VisitScotland to Tourism Australia.

Home Learning College benefit from Web 2.0 skills developed at Red C

Hot on the Web 2.0 agenda, Red C launch their first podcast. The podcast, recorded and edited in house will be the first in a series for Home Learning College who will use them to create a more content rich site for their students.

With businesses continuing to focus their budget and attention online, there is increased call for improved website content, not just for aiding natural search rankings, but to provide a more unique and fulfilling user experience.
