Our Alien Insurance emails voted one of the ‘10 best April Fools’ Day hoaxes on the web’

Alien Abduction Insurance from Swinton? Nope, it's a hoax email created by Red C Marketing, Email Marketing Agency and PPC Agency ManchesterAt Red C we firmly agree with Dr Seuss and what he wrote with regards having fun…“It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how”. And we certainly had some fun with one of our clients, Swinton Insurance, when we created an email that promoted Alien Abduction Insurance.

Obviously, this isn’t a real product. It was just a bit of fun that we thought we would have on April Fools’ Day. And it was so much fun that the technology news website, Techradar.com, voted our hoax email campaign one of the 10 best April Fools’ Day hoaxes on the web alongside Google’s Animal Translator App and Virgin Media using ferrets to lay broadband cables.

Techradar.com is the largest UK-based consumer technology news and reviews site. Their editorial independence is backed by the weight of the UK’s largest technology publisher plus objective test data from the TechRadar Labs. So when it comes to technology and all things geeky… they know what they are talking about.

So a big thanks to techradar.com, we’re glad you enjoyed our April Fools’ Day hoax as much as we had fun creating it.

Make sure you're protected with Alien Abduction Insurance from Swinton. A hoax email created by Red C Marketing, Email Marketing Agency, Online Advertising Agency and PPC Agency Manchester
