Red C create marketing campaign for VisitEngland and cottages4you partnership

Red C has created a new marketing campaign for a joint partnership between VisitEngland and cottages4you. The campaign, which will promote self-catering cottage holidays in England’s countryside and coastal locations, is set to launch on Boxing Day.

The TV advert, which cannot be revealed yet, will run through the key January to March booking period and is aimed at families, particularly focusing on cottages located in the countryside and on the coast. It will be supported by newspaper advertising, online advertising, direct marketing and radio.

Red C create ‘Inspirational Story’ Christmas cards in aid of Mustard Tree

Graham from Mustard TreeThis year at Red C we have decided to take a different approach to our agency Christmas card… we’ve created six cards that we can pack up and sell in aid of the charity Mustard Tree. The cards we’ve created aren’t just a pretty picture of a winter scene like other Christmas cards… each of the six cards is an inspirational story for Christmas.

Everyone here at Red C has been heartened by the work that Mustard Tree do to provide life support for the homeless, marginalised and vulnerable across Greater Manchester… so this year the dreaded agency Christmas card brief had only one solution… create something to help this Charity at the time of year when it needs help the most… Christmas!

Red C pick up Eurostar pan-European e-CRM business in four way pitch

Red C win pan-European eCRM accountManchester agency Red C has won a two year email marketing contract from high-speed rail operator Eurostar.  The agency was chosen from among 15 agencies following a multi-stage pitch process. The remit is to assist Eurostar in the strategic development of their pan-European email marketing and to deliver a suite of email communications for the UK, France and Belgium.

Following the recent deregulation of the European passenger rail market, Eurostar is implementing a number of changes to it business in preparation for the arrival of direct on-rail competitors for the first time.  The appointment of Red C is part of this programme as the company wanted to work with a single agency to help develop a unified and coherent approach across all markets.

Red C nominated for the 2011 DMA Awards for The Swinton Mystery Tipper

Needless to say we’re all really chuffed here at Red C towers and have already begun polishing those shoes and ironing those gowns for the award-ceremony!

Red C creates film competition for Jessops with The Mob Films and Paul WS Anderson

'The Shot' campaign poster created by Red C and judged by Paul WS AndersonBudding filmmakers up and down the country are being urged to put their work in front of the best and themselves in the spotlight, in a short film competition created for Jessops by Manchester based agency Red C. The competition has been developed in conjunction with The Mob Films and is judged by a team of top Directors including Hollywood filmmaker Paul WS Anderson.

Using nothing but a Digital or DSLR camera’s movie function, participants must produce a 10 minute short film entitled “The Shot”. Entries will be put before a judging panel of film and television directors, headed by Paul WS Anderson, Director of the Resident Evil series and the forthcoming 3 Musketeers 3D.

Red C receive four MiAwards nominations

Our email marketing skills are doing us proud this year, producing great results for our clients and receiving another three award nominations.

The Jessops campaign has received two nominations: Best Retail Marketing Strategy & Campaign & Best CRM Strategy & Campaign. Whilst our strategy for Swinton has been recognised in the Best Financial Services Marketing Strategy & Campaign category

Now in its third year, the MiAwards identify and highlight the very best in marketing, media and communications agencies, teams and individuals across the whole of the UK.

Which makes our fourth nomination even more special for everyone at Red C towers and something we are all very proud of – North West Marketing Business of the Year.

So all fingers will be crossed on 17th November and hopefully it wont just be champagne we’re picking up at the Gala Awards ceremony.

So it’s good to hear that the nice people at the B2B Marketing Awards have agreed with our thoughts and nominated us in the category of ‘Best Use of Direct Mail’… and ‘Best Lead Generation Campaign’.

Red C receive two nominations at the 2011 Dadi Awards

Dadi Awards logoWe’re pretty hot when it comes to this email marketing business, as well as making our clients happy it’s nice to know that our Peers recognise our expertise too… so as you can imagine we were chuffed to find out that we’ve received two nominations for our email marketing work at the 2011 Dadi Awards.

The Dadi Awards (Drum Award for the Digital Industries) are the awards that recognise and reward digital effectiveness. The awards are open to any business, including agencies and clients, who are producing effective digital strategies. Bringing together individuals and companies at the forefront of digital and providing the opportunity for those entering to prove how good they are.

So needless to say, with two nominations we are quite chuffed, and are looking forward to hopefully picking up something shiny on Friday 11th November in Saviles Hall in Leeds.

Red C create new flagship website for AGA

The home page for the new Aga website designed and built by Red CFollowing a 3 way pitch and 5 months work the new website for the iconic AGA cooker brand designed and built by Red C has gone live. The site has been completely redesigned to reflect the style icon of the AGA heat-storage range cooker while enhancing the usability of the site and bringing in social media aspects such as Facebook.

The project that took just over 5 months was a challenging one for all involved but Kathryn Lowe, Marketing Manager of AGA commented that “Red C researched, designed; built and facilitated the project brilliantly keeping every aspect under control making the experience a lot less painful than it could have been!” Red C even went so far as to test the site with their Eye Tracking equipment before the live date, comparing the old site against the new site with AGA owners and prospects to make sure that nothing in the process had been missed.
